Why are your sheets quilted?

Parents often ask about the “quilted” part of our design, and it’s a great question. While “quilting” can sound thick or padded, ours is intentionally thin, light, and low profile. 

In fact, our quilting helps contribute to keeping your little one safe, as it prevents fabric bunching, maintains airflow, and keeps the waterproof layer evenly distributed. 

The light quilting helps hold each layer of fabric securely in place, so the sheet keeps its shape and stays smooth and firm on the mattress. It prevents any shifting or bunching after washing, which means a consistently flat, even surface - exactly what Red Nose Australia recommends for safe sleep.

What are your sheets made from?

Each layer in our waterproof sheets has been purposefully chosen to support safe, comfortable sleep. The soft cotton top layer sits directly beneath your baby, offering a smooth, gentle surface that won’t irritate delicate skin. Beneath that, the thin polyester core provides stability — helping the sheet hold its shape, wick away moisture, and stay firm and flat through every nap and wash. Finally, the PUL waterproof base acts as a silent barrier, preventing leaks from reaching the mattress while keeping the sleep surface dry and hygienic.

Together, these three layers create a secure, low-profile structure that stays snug on the mattress, reducing movement or bunching. This ensures the sleep space remains flat, firm, and safe, just as recommended by Red Nose Australia for infant sleep.
