Our waterproof sheets feature a smart three-layer design to keep your little one dry, comfy, and safe.
Top: 100% cotton, which is soft and gentle against delicate skin.
Middle: A thin polyester fill that wicks away moisture and keeps the sheet’s structure flat and firm, and helps prevent pooling on the surface.
Bottom: Polyurethane Laminate (PUL) This specialised material has microscopic holes that allow air to travel back and forth, whilst trapping water molecules on the surface. This means the sheet allows air flow, but stops liquids from leaking through.
Bambella waterproof sheets are thoughtfully designed to meet Red Nose Australia’s safe sleep recommendations. They feature elastic edging to ensure they fit securely over the mattress, creating a smooth and flat surface with no loose fabric or bulky padding. Just what we needed
I brought two fitted sheets and they have worked out perfectly.
A good fit for our bubstar Portacot, great print, looks really soft and comfy, and protected the mattress through the anticipated wet throughs.
The other thing I was really surprised and happy with is how quickly they dry. I had to wash the sheet in our hotel sink and it was soaking without a proper spin or wring but in no time it was dry!
Unfortunately this "universal fit" doesn't sit quite right. The rounded cushion ends up sitting half way down my 4 month olds back and pushing her shoulders forward.
It unfortunately was more of a hinderance than a help so it's been a waste of money in our house.

I was a little sceptical about buying these as I thought do I really need? But wow I’m glad I gave them a go. I’ve made two purchases now. And these sheets really do make life a little easier. I’ve also used the bassinet sheets on my change table mat and dockatot. I have a very spewy baby so I’m changing sheets daily and these are amazing. I have even found they are thicker due to the extra waterproof lining but make my babies cot mattress just that tiny bit softer which makes a difference. Highly recommend.
